Now I wonder how much dated slang/jokes I'd find if I reread this comic from the start

I recall reading decades ago in a pop-science article that meteorologists had started to include the effects of airplane traffic in their weather prediction models, and AFAIK the planes aren't quite blocking out the sun yet either. So I bet those meteorologists would look at this and say "challenge accepted"
